heard first time about Jia Zhangke through hong kong international film festival 2011. There was seminar program, i registered for it but didn't attend as didn't know much about him and his works. Later, when i watched his movies like "Cry Me a River", "The world" and "Still life". I found that he has unique way of story telling. Regretted for missing to see this guy in person.

Found that Triad story is one of the best selling story in hong kong cinema. The first movie I watched was "Infernal Affairs", found that it is a superb movie. Later reproduced in Hollywood version too. After this movie, watched "Election 1" and "Election 2" . "Young and Dangerous" part 1 to 6. These stories tell that triad is like a culture in Chinese people inherited from long time ago.
